What is Harm Reduction?
Harm reduction is a public health approach that aims to reduce drug-related harm experienced by individuals and communities, without necessarily reducing the consumption of drugs. Harm reduction meets people “where they’re at”, addressing conditions of use along with the use itself. Our approach to service weaves evidence-based practice with harm reduction and a focus on the broad determinants of health. Positive Health Network helps clients avoid sharing needles and equipment to prevent blood borne infections such as HIV and hepatitis infections.
Our current programs include:

- The Van / Harm Reduction program
- Community points
